Asphalt Shingle Roofs
Asphalt shingles are very popular today. They have a reasonable life span and come with different year-long warranties. Asphalt Shingle roofs are much easier to walk on and maintain than most other types of roofs and are very reasonably priced. I clean and maintain more Asphalt Shingle roofs than any other type of roof. There are two cleaning services that I offer: Roof Disk cleaning and roof hand cleaning. Cleaning a roof by hand is mainly used for moss clumps. Hand cleaning is a very tedious method of cleaning moss from in-between the keyways and butt-ends of the shingles. Hand cleaning normally costs more and takes much more time if done correctly. I sometimes need to perform both methods. Hand cleaning is not an effective method of cleaning algae, which darkens the flat part of the shingles.
Roof Disk cleaning is usually the preferred cleaning method for Asphalt shingle roofs to restore that “like-new” look. The environmentally safe pre-treatment cleaning solution is amazing as long as the roof is not too old or badly sun-damaged. The even, smooth cleaning disk keeps the cleaning process under the disk and does not send the moss flying like wand cleaning normally does. It’s also important to keep the shingles from flapping up and down and loosening from the roof. With my 40-plus years in cleaning roofs, the Roof Disk method is the best there is: less walking around on your roof, very thorough cleaning, and far less messy.

Metal Roofs
Metal roofs need cleaning from debris and moss. Cleaning a metal roof without visible streaking can be a challenge, but not for AAA Action Fast Services, Inc. My Roof Disk cleans metal surfaces smoothly and evenly. I can shampoo your roof by standing at the top of the roof or ridge-cap and lowering my roof cleaning disk up and down, uniformly cleaning the moss, algae, dirt, and tree pitch without having to walk all over your roof. If you have a roof that needs replacing and are looking to have a metal roof installed, click here and you will be linked to a local manufacturing company for metal roofs. Roof installers hardly ever install roof safety straps on metal roofs, so if you have a metal roof installed, have them install safety straps every 10 to 15 feet across the very top of the roof or ridge caps if you plan to maintain it yourself.
AAA Action Fast Services, Inc., has been receiving more calls lately for metal roof cleaning because of the fantastic cleaning results that I have been able to give my customers. Roofs with lots of trees growing around them need more maintenance than other roofs. Metal roofs are affected mostly by pine needles that have pitch on them making them stick to the surface. The red roof pictured here suffers from pine pitch, and I clean it every two years.
Concrete Roofs
Oregon City is very close to my hometown and used to be known for the Oregon City Paper Mill on the Willamette River at the Willamette Falls. Many of my Oregon City roof cleanings are asphalt shingle, also known as composition roofs. As the owner of AAA Action Fast Services, I will come to your location for a free roof inspection and prepare a bid for a Roof Disk cleaning or other roof cleaning services that I will perform myself, giving you the full benefit of my 40 + years of experience! I also provide a roof maintenance program for recurring needs such as loose roof debris removal and gutter cleaning services. Call me now at (971) 570-3712.
Flat Roofs
This flat roof is a single-ply membrane roof that is primarily used on commercial buildings. Single-ply roof systems are created from a strong flexible membrane composed mostly of synthetic polymer. I was one of the first certified installers of the Dura Last Roof product back in the 1980s. Pictured here is a job on which I was referred by a contractor for an estimate because the owners of the building were not happy with the work that they had previously received from another company. Because of the quality of my work, the owners of this building ask me back every two years to maintain this roof for them.
